majik marker terrarium lid blue?

I was looking at magash's post response on light and saw the thing about the blue spectra and 440ish nanometers. Has anyone expiermented with coloring a plastic terrarium lid blue with like a crayola majik marker, I think the light would still come throuh pretty well, any comments or expierence?

I read that shrooms respond and grow best to light high in blue spectra. Thats why. I coulnt find anything under the above link.

My cock sucking friend has one of those new household "plant" lights that goes into a normal fixture. 630 lumens, he plans to test it out sometime soon.

I wasn't trying to say that it was a stupid question, I was just linking the above for everyone's benefit. What I got from this experiment is that no light has any advantage over any other for shrooms, although blue was not directly tested. Although ultraviolet is nearer to blue than the others (near is a relative term and I'm using it very loosely).

You are making a fundamental thinking error though.
The white, natural light already has the blue part of the spectrum in it. You can?t add anything if you send it through a filter(=blue painted surface) if anything, you will block some of the blue spectrum out.
