Contam or weird myc??

This is jar one, it has something that looks like myc in it but it looks a bit off.

This is jar 2, the myc doesn't seem like normal myc at all, it seems more slimy and not as ropey. It also colonized very quickly.

jar one could be normal myc but jar 2 I am almost 100 percent is contam

That doesn't look good. In the first pic you can actually the mycelium growing around it. If it wasn't a contam it would grow right into it. I suspect all 3 are contaminated.

Thats what I was thinking. Just thought I'd get a few other opinions before I tossed them. Out of the 20 jars I have only 3 have gone bad so far. Thanks man.

Contaminated.
3 out of 20 isn't bad for a beginner.
-Inoculate in a glove, spray the sides down with alcohol or water so any matter that is kicked up will stick to the walls/sides -kill all air currents like AC units, central air, heat, fans, windows, doors -flame sterilize the needle between each inoculation -medical grade face mask -iso wiped latex gloves -Shower -wear fresh laundered clothes -mouth wash your mouth
There are plenty of precaution you could be taking to decrease your contamination to near 0 percent.

I should be able to do all those things on my next grow. I'm slowly gathering supplies and I have a bunch of supplies on the way. Thanks.

Could that be oyster mycelium? the jars smell like bananas. If they are oyster mycelium I didn't buy my supplies from spores 101

The smell of bananas is not a good sign. That could indicate yeast or bacteria presence.

It could be oyster mycelium. I see what certainly looks like cubensis mycelium, but then there is another strange looking mycelium. Depending on where you got your syringes, it is possible that you had a cubensis syringe that was contaminated with oyster spores.

If you look at the very bottom of the 2nd pic it looks there's bacteria in there too.

I think I'll just leave them in the jar and see what happens, if oyster pins start showing up thats going to be really weird because the syringes I ordered were not from spores 101 but at least I will have a cool snack. It's got to be some kind of a conspiracy man

That doesn't look normal to me at all. Looks like Dactylium (Cobweb Mold) or Mycelia sterilia. I just recently had a minor lab crash because of those. I'm able to tell myc from contam because either the myc is going to stall or the moment it meets the contam it will stop.
When you opened the jars was any of that unknown growing through the top VERM layer? and if you haven't opened them yet. DO IT OUTSIDE!
In all honesty dude I think its a REALLY bad idea to keep a jar around that you think is contam. I lost 30+jars from only two contam jars in less then 24hrs. White molds spread like wildfire...esp if your jars are overly damp. If you want to risk it get those two jars out of that room and don't handle them before entering into your incubation room.
Refer to my recent post showing the contams. They look pretty similar to me. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17051099

I agree that it looks like there is more than 1 species in those jars. I would let them finish colonizing, then put them outside under a humidity dome just to satisfy curiosity

You're most likely right and I did not open the jars. I have removed them from my grow area. I will probably keep them just because I want to see the myc duke it out with whatever that is. It would be cool if it was just oyster myc.

If it is Mycelia Sterilia, it is because you did not let the needle cool off before inoculating. If you get your syringe needle red hot..you must let it cool otherwise you kill the spores coming out and what you are left with are contams from the needle. It looks like Myc but smells like wintergreen mint or cotton candy.
Same goes for plates and petri dishes, if you don't let your scalpel cool you will get Mycelia Sterilia.
Another thing is...with PF TEk, mold is very unlikely to spread from closed jar to closed jar. If you are getting batches of infected cakes, it is most likely from a bad syringe or bad sterile practice.
