 Harshness of Salvia

i have heard around that salvia is very harsh..and it needs to be smoken out of a pipe. Now im the type of person where if i dont smoke out of a joint. one hit off a pipe fucking kills my lungs im hacking and shit. So i must ask any tips to make the smoke less harsh..and how harsh is it.

I look at it like pinching myself. Pinching hurts, but the harder and longer you pinch, the more immune you become to the 'harsher' "pinches". When I tried salvia I sucked 'til it nearly brought me to my knees.....and then I inhaled more. I look at it this way, if you cough your balls off, you WILL eventually stop coughing. I don't even smoke pot anymore, so what do I know?

Strange, I always found salvia to not be near as harsh as weed. One can easily smoke an entire bowl and not be in pain.

Not me, Ive always thought salvia was horrid on my lungs. I always made up a quick gavity bong or waterfall for it. If you need to know how to make one pm me and I'll let ya in

Salvia, especially the extract, is alot harsher than any pot I have ever smoked

When I smoke salvia it always feels like I'm about to cough, but I get this confidence from deep down inside that kind of locks my jaw into place as I'm exhaling in this weird way that I can rarely seem to remember, and I have no problems with the stuff

well guys..it was mindblowing..we got the shit today
WE smoked a fewbowls out of the pipe. It worked well.but i couldnt break through no matter how hard i tried. And it wasnt that harsh..i got used to the smoke very fast and started to enjoy the taste.
well after some frustruation of it not working
i decide to fire up my bong this time..i filled it up with water and Ice and let it sit..then i loaded a huge bowl and toked it down Massively and held it in for around 40 seconds. then some shit happaned i dont wanna talk about but i was realy close to tripping but like my friend said something and it wasnt even mean i just took it the wrong way and flipped at him..so basically i was really shook up cuz i sortof exploded.
so i waited tenminutes patched things up with my friend, and smoked a ciggeratee..then it was time..i loaded another bowl and got 3 lung busting hits off of it. holding it in for 30 seconds at a time. Then my friend shut off the light and i laid down. I had my eyes closed the whole time, it wasnt liek i was ahving visions..more of..i knew...its really beyond words to explain..but i kept on seeing like images of a woman. then i felt her wrap me up in something and this overwhelming just thing just rushed through me, i dont know what it was, but it was liek she was sending her power into me. It was great. then she unwrapped me and i started getting images of this man and the woman laughing. Then i said goodbye, and i came back to reality.
I personally did not think it was scary at all, it was really amazingly beutifull. And im about ready to go smoke another bowl right now. (btw this all happened liek 10 minutes ago..so im a little shaked up. so sorry if im rambling.

Don't forget to practice moderation - They are making salvia illegal due to its "potential for addiction;" so please don't prove them right.
Glad you enjoyed it - this stuff is very powerful.. hey be sure you hold the flame on the stuff the whole time - don't just get it lit and then take the flame away - it has a very high burning point so you'll wanna torch the shit out of it.

Are you using plain leaf? Using an extract would be a much easier way to gain effects.
