Tons of pics both old and new
    #1702639 - 07/10/03 03:05 PM (14 years, 3 months ago)

This first set of pics where taken around a month ago. At the time i was unable to upload pictures onto my computer, but I recently fixed the problem.
The following pics where taken on a walk through the woods:

The Old Man of the Woods- Strobilomyces floccopus

Two waterlogged weilii

A turtle found on the trail

Nice pictures. Yeah, I found one waterlogged and bug ridden weilii yesterday, not really even worth posting pics of.

Looks like that cubie is in stable shavings. You been raiding my horse park

Man, we need to get together someday and hit up some cube fields. You seem to have a secret location, I have been all over I-20 with no results this year so far, and my stable shaving pile at the international horse park has been bull dozed and is no longer producing. My only other field is in augusta and I hate driving that far. I'll show you my new species if you show me a nice cube field

LK,

hey remy, i found the exact same looking mushroom as your second pic. I was interested if you knew what the name of it is. And just to clarify we have the same shroom, did it have a thin flat stem?

Reishi are highly valued in chinese medicine. In China they are used to cure, treat, and prevent many ailments. Their popularity has recently spread across the world for their antioxidant properties (which help to prevent cancers from forming). Typically the fungus is chopped up and boiled in tea.
