Try Ebay..just search Hygrometer. These Duracraft analogs are nice full scale readers. web page

Go to radioshack and get a hygrometer/thermometer that is wireless, accurate to about +/- 2% RH and doesn't saturate. 60$, and well worth it. I know, i hate radioshack too, but they work on comission so it's not their fault they are terrible persistent little men.

Hmmm....what you described is a analog clock thermometer.

An analog hygrometer doesn?t have a spring coil, but a thin stripe of material that expands and contracts with changing humidity connected with the dial.
