Tire shops sometimes also have the stuff. They use it industrial tires.------------------ "I think of myself as an intelligent, sensitive human being with the soul of a clown which always forces me to blow it at the most important moments." J.M. Northern Touch Spores

None of these places carry it in my area, I have tried both marts, Home depot, local hardware etc. But I did order 4 containers of Dry Out, 100% Calcium Chloride, from my local hardware store about 5 bucks each, 13oz. each. If they dont know what a dessicant is ask for a de-humidifier. Good Luck.

Calcium Cloride is sometimes a major part of driveway de-icers. They use it because it is safer than salt on plants. You may be able to get your hands on some that stores are trying to get rid of. One brand that I know of is "Driveway Heat", but just look look at the ingredients for CaCl. Also, Silica pellets work well. They can be found in some stores like "Hobby Lobby" and are used for flower drying. If you really get desperate you can always visit your local shoe store and steal the little packets from the shoe boxes. [This message has been edited by codfish (edited May 17, 2000).]

NaCl would be sodium chloride which is salt. So you don't want to look for that on the package. CaCl is calcium chloride, which is what you want to look for.
