newbie questions..

My cat is a complete newbie to shroom growing (although not a complete newbie to tripping on mushrooms), and have read a few of the growing methods. After reading these methods my cat has a few questions:

My cat has been reading about different strains on the boards, and that some are easier to grow than others. What strain would you reccomend my cat to use as a newbie grower?

Where would a cat living in the United States obtain the spore liquid that you insert into the cakes to grow the shrooms? i.e. is there a site that will ship to the united states or is my cat able to make the solution using dried shrooms (the only thing my cat has access to)

MY CAT ordered his first spores from sporeworks, they were the ecuador strain and worked just fine when MY CAT innoculated them into pf cakes...and they shipped EXTREMELY fast...MY CAT got his spores in about 4 days after placing his order...
