These are one of my favirot mushrooms. I have been in love with the way they look since I was a child. You can find them in the wild fairly easy.....you do know they are poisonious I assume...

Amanita Muscaria only grows in a mycoryzal(not sure about the spelling) relationship with certain trees. You can get spores from one of the vendors here at the Shroomery I believe, and there are other websites that sell them also. What you would have to do is try to get them to colonize an area beneath a pine, a fir or other tree that they are usually found under. That could be hard. Good luck and do some research before you start if you start.
TaoinShrrom---- Amanita Muscarias are not poisonous. Sometimes the effects are uncomfortable, but a lot of that can be overcome by proper preparation. Also, North American A. Muscarias are not supposed to have the same effects as Siberian A. Muscarias. Even still they have been used ceremonally in North America by some native tribes such as the Ojibway.

Amanita Muscaria does contain poison. It's called muscarine. It kills insects that eat the shroom. The oldtimers called the shroom fly agaric .The psyhcoactives in it are muscimol and ibotenic acid.Tried it once but didn't like the heavy sweating.
