I bought an eigth and my friend wanted to try shrooms, but I don't know if an eigth will be enough for 2 people... Will it?

If it's pure cubensis, the normal dose for a good level 3 or 4 trip is an eight. You can still have a great time splitting it with your friend.

If it's not cubensis or some sort of laced up street mushrooms, i just can't tell.

It will be enough for a week trip. I suggest getting pot, nitrous, w/e you can to make the trip stronger...

Well assuming that the shrooms were dried correctly and there was little if any potency loss, 1.75 grams per person will give you a good level 2 trip.

first time i tripped i did 1.5g. it was enough to trip. you will def feel it. wont be too strong though

me and my friend split an 8th of good cubes for our first trip, and I think it was good for a first time.

I did 3gs the first time but was barely feeling anything but sum laughing so i smoked pot and just felt high thats all, i guess the mush was weak. Then i got sum better stuff that were tiny and blue and did a gram and definatly felt sumthin, i was watchin the scorpion king and normally it woulda been a shitty movie but i was really into it!lol anyway yea i guess my point is try to figure out if its good mush or not.

well, my first time was only 1g. I had been drinking all night so maybe that had something to do with it, but it was definately not too little. I laughed, I cried, and was amazed how green my plant were :tongue: with time I learned to handle large doses, but there's no need to start with too much. you've got your whole life to eat funny things. If you start with a hellride, you might be scared off. But if you start low and think its quite boring you can always try to increase the dose a little.
Also, I had never tried any hallucigens (sorry for the fucked spelling) before, so... if you have tried a lot, you might be able to handle more than a total newbee. Treat it with respect and great things will be reaviled :wink:

This thread brings me into a question that I have about re-dosing... do you think it makes sense to take for example about 1 g or so... wait an hour... and see how it feels, taking more if necessary? (This q is for my benefit...) I had the chance to get shrooms lately and I stupidly only got 1/8th... so to conserve, I was thinking of taking 1 g and seeing how things went. Would I be somewhat tolerant to the effects of a re-dose an hour later, or would I get the full added effect of any additional shrooms at 1 hour?

Start small ... you can always eat more...If you eat alot and get a bad trip you may be stuck with it for hours....my $.02

I think a good starting point for someone who has never experienced psychedelics before is around 2g of properly dried cubensis, so splitting up an 1/8 would be about right.  An entire 1/8 would be a bit much for some, even though most people would be fine with it.  As many have said above, it is better to start small and then go from there than to risk an unpleasant experience.  :cool:
