Sorry guy but all I can say is wait and see what happens. These guys can be pretty tenacious when it comes to surviving but just when you learn to rely on this ability of theirs, the least little thing will croak them. Hold your breath, cross your fingers and say a prayer to the divinity of your choice and wait to see what happens.

Did the water get on the cake or just the casing? You may want to recase it if it was cased, or if it was a naked cake, take a paper towel to dab off the water.
