This dosage guide says that for me to have a level 5 trip with dry cubies I should eat apx. 6grams. My second time EVER tripping (my WORST trip EVER) I ate a half oz (14grams). Needless to say, this was a stupid mistake made early on in my tripping days. Not a mistake I ever came close to making ever again, but what level would you classify THIS as if 6grams marks the level 5?

Brief description of trip: Total loss of ego, loss of connection to reality. My life and all the events leading up to this very moment fit perfectly into place with the idea that it was all planned out as a joke by an extremely sinnical (sp?) god. I was in a friend's car in my driveway and as he grew increasingly aggitated with me he got on his cell phone. The voice on the other end was EXTREMELY loud (not in reality but in my state of mind) I then went into my house yelling loudly (at 1am) The house awoke (my mom awoke) and the lights turned on and it began rushing towards me (my house) My vision was extremely movie like, as if this was THE movie. I can't explain it. My mom called 911 and I was taken to the hospital. The dose was so high it lead me to believe completely in my experience. When I finally came down, there were a set of even numbers on the wall. I thought my brain had been damaged and left out odd numbers in reality. But I didn't fight it as not to anger my recovering psyche.

Dumb fucking idea. Anyone's thoughts on this? I've NEVER heard of ANYONE going above 10grams. I didn't know this, however, until after I had ingested the 14grams dry cubies. I've recovered since then (this was ages ago) and used the magic of the mushrooms (at MUCH lower doses) to help me attain stability and ground myself in my trips. Tripping is not an activity I wished to lose, so I healed my mind and I'm still in said process.

WAY OFF TOPIC I'M SORRY! But that 6gram figure got me thinking about just where the hell my mind was when I was under the influence of 14grams.

ps: If anyone's interested, I wouldn't mind going into specifics about that night, the events leading up to it and the aftermath. I'd gladly post it in the proper forum if people are curious as to what I experienced. But if no one really cares, I'd rather not waste the time and energy to delve into my mind and bring back those thoughts and images.

GOD DAMN 14 grams!!! thats crazy and i bet you wouldn't make that mistake again for damn sure ahahah.The most i ever took was 3 1/2 dry grams and that was enough for me that story you started to tell is funny i was laughing my ass off reading it and yes i would be very interested if you would go into specifics about that night.

T think the say 5-6+ dry grams so that would be 50-60+ wet grams of fresh mushrooms so your trip was level 3

If he hardly felt shit it was not a level 3. Different amounts affect different people differently. Also, I have been in a bad mood and not tripped at all while others have.

Then again I once had 13 grms that I bought in a shop in Holland and I'd say that it was only about a level 2 or 3 trip. What a bummer. The guy at the store told me that I was getting a deal because I was buying so much (about 700 grms) but I'm sure now that it's because he knew that they were bunk. What's worse is that I had been buying shrooms from that same guy for about a year every two weeks or so.

Oh yea, just in case some one asks, they were dried.

yeah level 5 is dope. i had mine on like 25+ hits of acid. long story. it lasted 10 hours. crazy part is when i woke up i was in another city 180 MILES AWAY driving my car on the highway and i thought i was in limbo(not dead and not living). it was the most horrifying and most elightening experience of my life. but it felt SOOOO wonderful once i woke up! it was like being in what i preceived to be heaven. it was so beautiful beyond words.

I don't think i could handle a level 5 trip at all the most i would be able to do is a level 3 and that would be with cool people that are on the same level as i was but right now i'm at level 2 for my highest,level 5 sounds WAY TOO CRAZY to be high on

no no. not while sleeping. while tripping. while having a complete ego loss. i was 100% lost in my own dilliusion and then *SNAP* i woke up suddenly and i was on the highway. it was like when you are laying down and then you get up too fast and that blackness clouds your vision and then it slow fades away. thats what i saw when i woke up.

You probly don't know what you're talking about. Please stop acting like someone who wants to blow his mind as soon as he could, that's dumb and inapropriate.

I never went to level 5 for a long time but already *flirted* with it for a couple of seconds once. It was so great, but I had enough cuz I really felt a point of no return. At this level, so much things are involved that you just can't have a grip on your trip.

I also hate all the level 1-2-3-4-5 thing. It's just an objective effort to qualify something that is so personal and not objective at all.

That's so subjective anyway. I know my post doesn't make sense to you at all. Enjoy psychedelics on your own, and good luck. Earn your wisdom.

I put together a report in response to a PM I got about it. I will post that in the trip report forum. It's written in reponse so it'll be a little wierd to read, but that's the only time I've gotten THAT into describing those hours of disconnection between me and reality.

A level 5 trip, for anyone that's curious, is NOT something to fuck around with. Some people like to watch movies, or something of the sort in a recreational setting while tripping at lower levels. I don't suggest embarking upon a level 5 dose in such a setting. It's an unpredictable experience as are ALL experiences with psychedelics. It's often frightening at times aswell as blissful. Mine, happened to be out of control and for being only my second time ever dosing with shrooms, it was panic stricken the entire time and frightening. Look for it in the trip report forum...or whatever forum you put trip reports.

PS: The trip report is now up in 'Trip tips'. It's long, but I think it's pretty well written and a worth while read if you're one of those people who like to enlighten themselves with accounts of other people's trips.

i know that no one has posted in this thread for awhile, but it seemd perfect for my trip with my girlfriend. it was our first successful batch of shroomies we had grown (b+) they stained REALLY blue. we we're planning on only takin 3 grams each or less but for some odd reason decided to take 5 each. HOLY SHIT!!!!! there goes the universe! i read through the level discriptions and was like, yep yep yep, but there was more. then i read level five and it's whol emerging with the universe thing and was like YEP thats it. at one point i was afraid of dispersing, like particles blowing away in the breeze. i thought i could control my girlfriends word comming out of her mouth. thing kept on speeding up with complexity and slowing down with simplicity. i saw the extreem xarnage of the world. generally freaked out. cried thousands of time. say her face turn into vego from ghostbusters 2 (don't know why), thought about suicide and if i'd really help or was i about to die anyway and all this fast complexity would just keep flowing after death? comming down or waking up the next day was not apparent to me. i forgot i even had ingested shrooms many times. i shared many emotions at once. i could see mayself (literal images like watching myself) cut my wrists. all kinds of mind warping crap that i'd never like to experiencec again. i thought it was around 8 the next morning or so (we doesed at 5 pm) till kussh called me and told me it was 10 pm. then i started comming down. sad to say it'll be a long time if not never that i trip again. level 5 = bad! i was NOT ready!!!

yeah bat you should do about 2.5 for a pretty good trip.

about 1.5 for a good time

don't let it scare you just start off a little slower next time. it amazes how potent they are sometimes.

I have tripped on 50 hits of acid once... and then 25 after that. I can tell that certain people here have been there is well... especially the complete ego loss... and the astonishing terror... forgetting who you are... what people are... what concepts are.... and then there is the coming back to reality.... solving the puzzle... It's like being whispered the meaning of life and not being able to tell anyone... it is the most torture and treasure you could get... I don't even trip anymore after that... I have alot to work up to based on what I've learned in my past experiences. Those of you who say that you "want" to do a level 7 trip really have no clue where the rabbit hole takes you...

yeah, but i lost control, forgot i was even tippin, make it very friethening! i creid, then literally 2 seconds later would laugh, then had suicidal thoughts. then felt like i was haveing sex and i wasn't, to nothing, like death, to crying again.

it's gonna be at least a month or 2 for me.

hearing about the 14 gram trip reminds me of a moronic story told to me by a friend of mine. This guy's got no sense of self control.

So he ate maybe 3 grams or so and he's feeling good, everything is going well, then this girl decides it would be fun to see how many he'd eat so she picks up the bag and starts shoving more shrooms in his mouth. This guy shovels them back. I have no idea how many grams he ended up eating but it could easily have been in the 14 gram zone, maybe more. So later they go to 7-11 coz someone's hungry and in the store he pukes all over himself and starts getting the shakes. He totally looked like a junky, and claims it was the lowest moment of his life. Apparently the trip was good apart from the puking incident, but yeah... this boy's gotta learn when enough is enough... and that girl was such a bitch to feed them to him!
