Time to let go
    #1699636 - 07/09/03 02:55 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

Often, I look to another, a lover, for a sense of completing myself. I look for one who has the character traits that I lack tin order o make myself whole. In reality, this mode of dependency, will not be an enlivening experience but more of a draining experience. Then, I find a friend who nourishes me. Endless nights of conversation of psychology, philosophy, anthropology, family life, movies, our first sexual experiences - humor, good humor, in plenty - a delirious place opens up in my breast from this feedback we're sharing, such an intense eroticism delayed ---- for me, a month with a friend without sex in CJ years could be compared to a year for normal people! And we fall asleep cuddled together in karezza, w/o sex, and it feels totally right on.
So I look back, at other lovers, some would be easy to let go of and others I'd really fear for their disappointment and well being without me. And I ask, is it best for me? Is it best for them? Should I let go now? Can I redirect this relationship to a healthier place. I am happy basing a relationship around dinner, a movie, and sex... but how refreshing a friend who digs so deep with you... shares so intimately.... that it brings deep yearnings for this kind of nourishment in all aspects of life.
Your thoughts, please?

Everything is better than it was the last time.  I'm good.

If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care.

It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence.

I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too.  If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.
