    #1697917 - 07/09/03 12:49 AM (13 years, 11 months ago)

SO umm.. ive been boiling some yellow wallmart brand popcorn for about an hour now.. and they had been soaked for 20 hours before that.. and they have still only maybe doubled in size, if even.. Ive heard of peeps getting marble sized ones after boiling... what am I doing wrong, or is it fine like that.. I can crack them in between my fingernails, but its still kinda hard.

Whoa marble sized? Really? My friend's popcorn gets a little bigger, but I don't think it's physically possible for it to get much bigger than the dry kernel without ripping apart. I'm pretty sure whoever said marble sized ate an oz. And my friend's popcorn colonizes like lightning with liquid mycelium, but maybe he's a crackhead. Your popcorn is almost certainly fine.
