I bought a growing kit online and it came with pink oyster shrooms, Are these any good? Two days ago i put my cakes in the terrarium. I have only been able to give them half hour of light near a window a day. Other than that they are hidden in a closet. Is this enough light for the pink oyster?

I have not done any experiments with lighting but have grown them before. I used difused natural light all day. I personally prefer the yellow oysters as the pink have a strong and distinctive odor that I do not like very much. Good luck!

...Why're you hiding them in your closet? You do know that these're edible mushrooms and not ones you can trip off of, right?

They're grown to eat and for their beauty. Not psychoactive.
