also... if it IS contaminated... would it be safe to sell if i grow it anyways? i doubt its contaminated though...

I am sure you miss typed when you said "sell", you must have meant "eat". Right?

Anyway, even with 8 healthy 1 pt cakes, you will get a lot of shrooms. IMHO, it isn't worth risking the remaining good cakes for 4 maybee's. Toss the suspicious ones and enjoy you healthy ones. If you must keep them, try and separate them.
