What's the ID? Are they good Fried?

I already soaked and rinsed these mushrooms, I know they are edible just dont know their name =/. I just need to google them to see what are some ways to prepare and cook them. Sorry if they arn't detailed enough, just ask me whatever and I'll do my best to be descriptive.

They where slimy, caps where darker and got to the size of an open palm, they had spongy spores. found on grass growing bunched together in a central Washington park.

Well first you shouldnt wash mushrooms with water, take a fine bristled brush, a toothbrush should work and gently brush the dirt off, cut the bottoms so you dont eat any substrate material. Also are you sure they are suillus? I dont know of any toxic suillus but that doesn't mean they are out there you should do a proper ID first before you try and eat them.

How do you know they are edible? did you soak them because they were dried?

Well I brought them home and asked my dad, he declined a few and confirmed these. He never guesses or assumes when it comes to shrooms. It's a yes or no. but at the moment I am sure they are Suillus. Lol i soaked them to get the worms out, I mean they wer'nt too bad but they did have some worms. Worms are an annoying process.. I think I'll just start getting the perfect ones..
