well they scare the shit out of me (did you know they have 8 pair of eyes? one pair sees normal light, the other sees in the dark, the other sees into the future and the last pair sense fear :smile:

I spare them. Spiders don't really bother me, but I have lots of black widows around my house, so I keep my distance. My mom gets really bothered by spiders in the house and takes them outside in cups, but I personally don't put effort into taking them outside (even though there's no way that they can survive inside the house with no bugs or insects to fly into their webs). The only time that a spider could bother me is if it was scampering on my body (or especially on my face), and then I will shake myself and try to swipe the spider off of myself without hurting it.

I've never found a dangerous spider in my house, so I've never killed one (except when I was really little). The only bugs I kill are parasites, and more specifically, only blood sucking parasites or parasites that are harming my garden. Those I kill without mercy.

Wouldn't kill a rat either, they make no-kill rat traps, and if I ever had a rat problem, I'd use one of those, and then release the rat in one of the nearby forested areas away from my house.

I have two Scottish Terriers, and, being terriers, they are "ratters" and take great pleasure in killing any unfortunate rats who happen upon my property. And when they kill rats, they tend to hold the rats in their mouths and come to me and wag their tail and look pleased and triumphant with their work, expecting me to be just as pleased as they are. I can't say I like rats, but it kind of disturbs me that the dogs that I love so much are really merciless killers at heart.

lol, I have that problem with my cat. He's always killing lizards and leaving them around my house. It saddens me deeply. :sad:

But what's worse is walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night with all the lights off, and stepping on something cold and squishy and lifeless. Oh the horror!

i murder every bug in my house except spiders. i dig those guys cause they kill other bugs which im all about. i just put em on a piece of paper and blow em off outside or out the window so they can ninja other bugs :death:
