we have about 20-30 dady longlegs.  A few eggs hatched and we just let them chill in their corners, we get alot of flys and earwings and stuff and they seem to clean that stuff up nicely.  However we have a closet and somehow they found their way in there and its like one of those movies in there its just, like one big web that could catch a little kid or something

not usually. i will leave the web builders alone unless they are in an inconvenient spot (i won't fuck with the spider so much as destroy their webs which they always end up rebuilding). web builders tend to keep to themselves and catch other bugs and i can get down with that, i've even left black widows to their own devices as long as they stay in one place and i'm not seeing egg sacs (those i will inevitably kill with fire), i had one living in my windowsill for quite some time with no problems; she kept to herself and i kept to mine.

the hunting spiders bother me a little more. if they are crawling through the kitchen or on the ceiling or walls i will try to catch them and put them outside. that being said, i have zero tolerance for them if they wander into my bed and start crawling towards my face while i'm reading or something. that is the only circumstance i can think of where they end up dead 100% of the time, end story.

Yeah pretty much exactly the same as slothie for me.

There's been one of those super thin legged (not a daddy long leg) spiders that chill in the corner right above my door for a long time. I've seen it kill and eat multiple things. Pretty cool to watch really, see what different thangs she's got cocooned up there for feasting.

Dude. Get it straight man. Bees are extremely important and you shouldn't kill them. They won't even sting you, generally, unless you attack the hive because it kills them to do so. Wasps are asshole vagabonds who don't even pollinate things and can sting as much as they want to. So I agree, fuck them.

But leave bees out of this.

Bee's out in nature I love and wouldn't harm (unless to get their sweet sweet honey) but they intrude into my house and shit is on.

honey bee's are cool, bumble bee's are even kinda cool, everything else can burn in hell.  We have a fruit tree and so we get wasps, paper wasps, yellow jackets, ect out the ass.  well this year they decided to make a nest under a dam rock, that just happened to be pretty much in the middle of our yard so whenever we mowed they would swarm:onfire:

Dude fuck some brown recluses. You know what's funny? I love snakes. Am fascinated by them. If I saw a rattlesnake out in the wild I'd get up to it as close as possible to get a good look. And any non-poisonous snake I'd pick up. But if I opened my bathroom and there was a brown recluse in there, or even a big wolf spider, I'd be all like

:woooaaahhh:

I love snakes too  I've actually held a rattlesnake once. It's a scary feeling, but it comes with a great rush :drooling:

I have a policy on spiders. If they touch me, my clothing or my bed they're dead. Anywhere else, they are caught and released. Unless they are big, pretty, or interesting. Then they are caught and observed before being placed in a vial of alcohol for preservation.

Yellow jackets are the only creatures that provoke that primal flight or fight response in me. It is hard not to occasionally stumble upon a nest when out hunting for mushrooms, and I've been nailed a couple times. I've gotten to the point where the mere sight of one coming out a hole, or an  escalating buzzing sound sends me into an automated frenzy of waving arms, swiping my arms and body over and over while running like a fucking maniac.

These are one of the largest species of wasps in the world, but they don't use their stinger defensively. They sting to immobilize their prey, cicadas.

Ulfrick, in the time it took for you to get the lighter, the spray, and ignite, there would be dozens of yellow jackets stinging you repeatedly. The ONLY response to an attack is to run like hell.
