These guys popped up all gray and frosty looking. I was a bit concerned at first.

But after I pooled some water on top of the cake (a teknique I've started to use after reading LM's heatshock TEK) This is what happened a little over 24 hours later.

Largest harvest yet on my very first grow! It may not be a lot to some but it was a great victory for me!

If you're calling the pins in the first pic, "primordia". Then you are confused. Those are pins! Primordia doesn't have the brownish head, it's more of a small whitish bumps on the surface of the substrate. Also, not to be confused with mutants.
After a quick google search I found a pic to show you what I mean. This is what primordia looks like:

After double checking I actually think I am right. What you are showing me are Hyphal Knots. Then comes pins, then primordia then mushrooms.

No, it goes Hyphal knotting > primordia > pins > mature fruits. The picture I posted might be somewhere in between hyphal knotting and primorida. But my main point was that the browning of the head is most certainly a pin.
From what I've learned from RR. Primordia can look like tiny pins but do not have the browning of the head yet. Once you see the browning, they have become pins and should grow to mature fruits from that point.
