A guy I know is P cooking jars right now and is wondering if he can let them sit in the cooker for about an hour then move them to a different location so he can get to the next jars...what should he do?

that should be fine... if you have foil on the tops of the jars especially. If you don't then just tape up the holes immediately before moving.

Cool 10 minutes? My PC will burn the living shit out of you after half an hour sometimes, 10 minutes is a little low IMO. Just watch some episodes of Family Guy or World's Wildest Police Chases or ChiPs and then open the PC.

I agree with kukusz, 10 minutes is not long enough to wait to open your PC. Wait at least an hour before moving the jars to a new location. Let them cool gradually so that they do not bust.

Yeah ok, boiled jars you can just use oven mits after 10-15 minutes. PC wait an hour.

You can run your PC under cold water if you want to cool it down enough to get the pressure down to what it is outside the cooker. If you've got tape or tyvek over the holes, you can just pull 'em out and let 'em cool on a counter. Use oven mitts, though, and be sure the pressure really is all the way down before trying to crack it.
