It might be sunburn, but I live in texas, and sunlight is just obnoxious down here. If its wilting, no more direct sunlight till it gets better. Keep it in the shade.

is there any localized discoloration?
if it is sunburn then they should recover, but if it is not it may be symptomatic of some other problem.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

if it is getting wrinkled and it does not have yellow spots then it deff. needs more watter.
i know its a cactus but depending on the size of your pot 2 waterings a month does not sound like enough at all\
just my 2 cents though

one cactus got definatly sunburned a month ago, with localised yellow spots, but the other are just wincled and loosing their color, but no localised... more water?? its quite hot over here, I'd say between 28 et 35, with alot of bright sun.... I've put all of them in the shade, and watered them... let's hope they make it...

what species are you experiencing that problem with?
if they are Trichocereus i would say try giving them a little more water on a trial basis, in addition to shade, and see if they improve.

have you checked the roots? If the are heavily infested with rootlice they are unable to uptake water and will shrivel. Rootlice form whitish powderish structures on the roots.

I unpotted one of the cactus, had a carefull look at the roots, and I didn't notice any bugs or with powder or stuff... just roots... so I guess it's a lack of water... hope they well get beter soon...
