Identification
    #16913351 - 09/26/12 07:22 AM (11 years, 4 months ago)

Hi

I found some of these in my garden and wondered whether they were safe to consume as there are many. I am in the UK. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I call those joints p. antillariums, shiny and white/silver.  I don't know if that's right or not but if anyone needs any I have them by the pound.

:whathesaid:

Take a spore print to be 100% sure but the reddish stems often tell me, it is not a cyan.

Jet black = Pan Cyan
Brown = Pan foe/pap (I'm sure there are others, point being non active)

I think panaeolus papilionaceus has a black print and only panaeolina such foenisecii will have a brown print.
