Washing new jars
    #1691562 - 07/06/03 10:44 PM (21 years, 6 months ago)

Do you wash your jars(soap and water) after buying new ones? I doubt it would make any difference, but I dident find anything in the search feature about it. I ask this just to make sure they dont have some sort of film on them, and maybe so they will be less prone to contams. Any imput? Should I even bother doing it?

Didn't bother. They looked clean, and since I was going to PC them, I wasn't worried about contams.

It doesnt hurt to be a little extra cautious and clean them out good. Though, using the PC should suffice in sterilizing them completely.
