fresh VS dried

I was just wondering as a newbie if there is a difference between dried shrooms and fresh ones. I am in the process of my first "kit" and wondered about the dosage.. anyone with an idea of the potency of fresh ones vs dried?? just curious. :heartpump:

Fresh ones are more potent per shroom but dry is more potent per weight. Its mostly agreed upon that you should dry them to dose to make your dose level measurement more acute.

kool so i usually dose at around 3-4 grams dry, what is a safe level for my own "babies"?

Well, if you're experinced and know what to expect, it's a little bit less forgiving. :wink: Since about 90% of a mushroom is water (I've read everything from 90-95%), they say to use ten times the weight of a dry mushroom. So 3-4 grams dry would be about 30-40 wet. Of course, this is a rough estamite, since potency can vary a bit.

If the shrooms you usually eat are cubensis (probably) then you should dose the same as you usually do.

3-5 dried grams or one fresh ounce are ppretty equal in doses. Fresh shrooms are more potent than dried
