hello. i did a jar of b+ brf and it looked done so i cased it while i was casing it there were some light grey spots in the center of the cake and i just proceded the mycelium has rose obove the top layer and is pure white so im guessing problem solved with those . ok anyway my orissa jar has what looks like the same mold in a few spot of the out side of the cake but only a few small places . this mold has no scent. ill try and get a pic of it when i can
i think its Aspergillus is there a way to kill this stuff
Get a pic and be careful, aspergillus is a dangerous contaminant. As for the casing goes, it's hard to tell if the problem was solved or not you know. Throw the whole thing if you get small or deformed mushrooms.
