bruising or contam?

afoaf has a mazzie cake that was just dunked in bottled water. 2 days out of the water the entire cake has turned a blueish/blackish color. it doesnt smell bad at all, but hes new to this and doesnt know what to do about it. advice?

It's hard to say from your description. Even if it's just bruising then something is very wrong, like not enough humidity. But it's very likely that that cake is contaminated.

This topic is discussed often, I nominate that there be a post with detailed pictures made sticky that shows, bruised cakes, dry / and or damaged cakes, and green contaminated cakes.

Probably just bruising. Give it plenty of air exchanges and mantain a good temperature and Rh.
Report if it changes in color.
