Thanks guys, User_7 yes all from cultivated mycelium. Simply put block of colinised woodchip spawn chucked in a hole and then covered with a varied mix of woodchip/mulch and a little nearby hummus/leaves/soil. Left to own devices once done, not watered once. The 'friscosa look cosy in the woods, I hope they can one day gain a foothold on our shores with a little helping hand from man

P.s. -thanks must go to Alan for providing the initial sporeprint many years ago, he said he hoped I could oneday produce pics akin to Nightflyer's European projects and now finally it seems may be able to repay that faith  What a great thing to see new exotic woodlovers popping out of British soil! :awesomenod::mushroom2:

This thread is very inspirational, will be keeping an eye out in all kinds of woodchip this year. How do I get started with a cyan bed?

Wow your spot has really come on mdma, them daily waterings must be really helping!

Out in a woods near me:

Friscosas,I'll include here as close cousins of the Ps. cyanescens, (PF tek from Alan Rockefeller print) coming along, plenty of new pins to boot:

UK (Surrey) cyanescens (from stem butt)reaching adulthood with new pins aplenty:

And also a pin and adult in another newer patch:

-There was a stage where I was laying down patches all over this site so not 100% sure what species this is but my inkling is US cyanescens (PF tek from Alan Rockefeller print).

Hmmmm i see strange new faces but many old familiars ... /yawn guess its time for me to come out from my mushroom hibernation!

hello people i see we are doing well already most impressive! mdma as usual you got some gorgeous beds!!!!
UK explorer ... outstanding!

im currently in Hong Kong for a few months and back in uk in a few weeks and will head straight to my patches to see if there is any life in those old beauts! will also be hunting for more!

my cardboard tek / shaving tubs i put out early summer under a few council planted pine trees of which they generously added woodchippings below them all! so ofcourse it saved me having to create patches! will let you all know how its going on!

didn't find any shrooms in Thailand on my hunt a month ago

and on a final note i have about 20 S Pedro popping up and will uppload pics of the progress of those babies too when i get time! they should be about 5-6 months old now

Keep hunting people  good work

I had some mycelium on card mixed with some woodchip which I didn't do much with, the stuff that was doing well I moved to a big tub with lots of woodchip mulch and put it outside recently, and the remaining mycelium I spread over a number of tubs and added some soaked dowels about a month ago...today I went to air them and noticed that one of the tubs (also in a box) hadn't been aired for a bit so I opened it and found mushrooms growing!

I'll take some better pictures later, some of those are just crops and I didn't use a tripod either...you may also notice a bit of other stuff growing...
