terrarium air exchange

would using an aquarium pump to pump air under the perlite, with small hole drilled for air to exit, make for efficient air exchange? compared to the vicks or fanning?

If you had h2o2 and water in the perlite-could you skip putting the fish pump in a filtered box? And have the tube go into the h2o2/water to help protect from contams?

so would this eliminate the need for fanning? and say i could run the pump through one of the stone aquarium filters?

If the pump is going into an airstone and the airstone is under the wet perlite, I'd say you don't really have to worry about putting the air pump into a filter. The filter, stone, perlite, and water all are filtering it.

Should work fine, Skippy put a comp fan in recently due to too much "fluff" on the cakes.
But the set up with a few quarter size holes above the perlite or geolite would not hurt. Stuff em with polyfill. Worked out fine b4 the fan was installed
