nah not really. i'm just about treating people right. as someone pointed out i know he said she had a shitty personality. i would've tried to at least make the best out of the situation though and feigned some interest.

He said she was socially awkward, which is probably to be expected when you're sitting across a table from someone who thinks you look repulsive. I know I feel awkward hanging out with people who obviously can't stand me.

It happens EVERY. FUCKING. TIME. The chicks on that site should band together and start a company that takes misleading pictures of pure illusion, they must all be photoshop pros or something, its amazing. You wade through pages and pages of just bleh gross, find the one or two that "aren't that bad" and when they show up on a date (if they show) they're three times the size they looked in their picture. At least.

Normally I would agree with you, but with these chicks it just gets worse. They start telling you about their ex who has a wife and kids and who stalks them, and about their last psychotic break. And that's the good part of the conversation where they don't seem totally crazy.
I'm going to demand timestamped full body shots and two references before I take one of these girls out again.
Seriously though, It's fun to chat and flirt online but you have to be amazingly lucky to find a real nice girl online. There is a reason they are doing online dating. And if they are actually attractive, they get hundreds of messages a day, and are in it for either the ego boost or the free shit suckers buy for them.

I thought I was pretty valiant for hanging the 30 minutes I did and not climbing out the window. The looks aren't everything. I've been on blind dates with women that I didn't find attractive and still had a fun time. This was not one of them. Yall can think I'm a dick if you want, but it's how it is.

alright well i don't really know about the world of online dating. i just figured if you have to hang out with someone because you've already committed to a date, then make the best of it. kind of like the small take i make with coworkers who i don't to relate to at all.

yeah, but if you're just meeting for coffee or a soda (which we were, I intentionally kept it casual cuz I wasn't sure), I don't think you are obligated to take her out for a night on the town or anything. That's why so many people like to just meet for coffee, cuz there's not that whole expectation.

When I was a teenager, using myspace to pick up girls and go on dates was a regular thing.
Now it's facebook, but I deleted mine a while back because I have a feeling the CIA is watching me.
