Reviving an aging cake/casing
    #1686657 - 07/04/03 03:20 PM (20 years, 11 months ago)

My friend is interested in putting a cake that has gone through 3 flushes into some compost and make a new casing out of it, will this work?? also, he is thinking about sprinkling some comopst around the sides and top of a casing that has had 2 flushes already, what do you think?

This has worked quite well for my friend. He uses a cheese grater to grind his spent cakes and then spawns pasteurized straw/dung with it. After colonization he cases with coir and verm.
