prolly nothing to worry if the water is under/in the verm.
reducing the temp. will help but will slow things as well.

Hippie(or whoever is listeneing), I need your advice on similar matters....

i had a condensation problem a while back, but w/ loosening lids and flipped jars, it was rectified.(thanks to you guys for the help, btw) But now one jar is soaked on the bottom. the cake looks like it's shriveling. it's almost 100% colonized. should I just leave it and see what happens?

Also, the mycelium in some jars have great rhizomorphic (sp) growth in some spots, and some fuzzy spots. But then other parts of the same jars the myc. looks transparent, almost sickly(slightly gray off color or a little pinkish). there are no bad smells and I would say that they are like 98% colonized.
IS it safe to keep cakes with possible contams in the same terranium? I wanted to hold on to them to see what happens, but is it better to just throw them away?
