Re-use or discard needles?

I just made a batch of 8 syringes, probably going to be a while before I get through them. Do the needles rust/become contam magnets after use? (I've used 2, just capped them and put in box with other stuff) Should I throw them out (cheap to replace) and just buy new ones, not the syringes obviously, only the needles? Noob question I know, but it keeps coming back to me and I can't find an answer in search.

Some needles are one time use only, it will have it printed on the syringe. But if not reuse the fuck out of them, I have syringes that I've used 20 or more times, PC'ed them, boiled them, they never contam.
Best syringes I've got are veterinarian grade horse syringes from Tractor Supply. They are fully aluminum and awesome.

Really? What makes them one time use? Technically the package my plungers came in specifically states "one time use only!" but I've reused them numerous times without any issues whatsoever.
Only time I've had syringes go bad is when I was a dumbass and used bleach to sanitize them. Rust city, baby.

I would assume they are not able to be sterilized after use. Since the plastic wont hold up to the heat.

Depend on the brand I think. Put them through a PC cycle. If they don't melt, reuse them. I've got some that have been PC'd many times.

That works but it is not true sterilization. You are just rinsing the syringe with the boiling water. Not bashing it i use the boiling water way. Just saying its not truly sterilized

I always took them fully apart, boiled all the pieces, reassembled them and stored them in a ziplock baggie until I was ready to make new syringes. Then I would fill the syringes with boiling water. Put back into my plastic baggie, then put them in the fridge overnight to bring the sterilized water back down to room temperature and ready to make a new batch of syringes
