posted this in the contam forum but not getting a response. Does this look ok?

i removed it and saw a tiny spot near this one not in the photo. hit both spots with hydrogen peroxide. Should i toss this tray out?

such a bummer because on the other side of this cake there is a wicked pinset, and they arent big enough to be worth picking... should i just toss this whole cake into a mono tub or sgfc and watch from there?

Yeah, you'll definitely still get fruits from those pins.

Outdoors is for sure an option that I have been considering more lately to expand my grow space. How would you go about this? I was thinking Mono tub, maybe a SGFC. but i feel a Mono would be less contam prone outside?
I was thinking about constructing a Mono right now and put this one contam'd coir cake in to finish fruiting.

Your best defence against contamination during the fruiting stage is fresh air, which is why I'd go with the shotgun, as counter-intuitive as that may seem at first. Depending on the climate of your area, you'll either have to mist less or more.

the area i live in is very Humid. So you think that SGFC's would work better than Mono's in my area outdoors? i have seen pics on this site of some one doing both in the same area i live. Just want to see what people think about both outside.

Yeah, I'd go with the SG myself. You don't want to be inhibiting airflow to fight contams at this stage, if that's the line you're thinking along.

Well I understand that at this stage, the mycelium is strong. Since it is very humid in my area, I would guess that Shotgun style would be best?
I guess the thing that worries me is adding wet perlite to the mix (in the shotgun style).
Would this still not be an issue Outside? (compared to a Monotub with nothing extra added to the over all mix of things)
Ill just test both anyways...

SGFCs aren't really designed to work outside.
I doubt that is from contamination. I vaguely remember running into something like that before with no problem, doesn't exactly look like a contaminant either. Also, a mushroom stump is the last place that would get contaminated. It's basically a solid clump of live mycelium.

Yea, you're right. That's nothing to be concerned about. Nevermind the former posts on my part OP.
