A glove box is supposed to be still air. Otherwise you need a laminar flow hood, for which this will not do.

Oh...well strange that every glovebox tek ive been reading has suggested using a fan/fliter of some sort in order to purify the air.

Take a big clear tote and cut 2 arm holes in it, still air is guarenteed to not blow contams around, its "still air".
If u are using a "glove box" and not a "still air box" then u cannot flame sterilize your needle outside of the box and bring it in, and if u use alcohol inside the box, ur screwed....for mycology a glove box isnt reccommended for inoculation....just G2G transfers. A simple SAB works well for everything tho.

4" holes are the best....get a 66qt clear tub or larger....and u could heat up a 4" coffee can on a stove, CAREFULLY lift it up with THICK ASS oven mits and melt the holes very clean, quick and efficiently.
