FAE advice 1

getting ready to start fruiting in about a week, i have a 100+qt SGFC in my open closet. looking for some advice on my fanning and whatnot for my room, i have a ceramic heater set to 72 and it keeps my room warm, i have an air purifier and also a ceiling fan both in my room, i run the ceiling fan to disperse heat so its a more even temperature. im wondering when i birth my cakes if i should leave my ceiling fan running all the time? should i leave the air purifier running all the time? my worry is after i mist/fan 2-4 times a day that if i leave the fans running is will dry out my cakes? but it also seems like the constant air flow in the room would promote pinning? if thats too much air drying out what if i added a cool mist humidifier in my room and kept that running to keep the room from getting too dry and keep the cakes from drying too fast?
any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Constant airflow in the room will promote pinning and is a good thing. As long as the terrarium remains at full humidity, supply all the FAE you can and simply mist when the cakes get dry. The ambient humidifier probably isn't necessary, unless you live somewhere really dry.

Sure, leave the air purifier on.
With regard to the mushrooms, you generally want max FAE while keeping the humidity up. Allowing for evaporation during pinning is ideal but not entirely required.
What is the RH of the room they are being kept in? It will play a big factor in all the questions you asked.

my hygrometer in my room says 60 right now, not entirely convinced that its accurate but i would say most of the time my room is between 50 and 70 RH. i live in michigan and its slowly getting colder and more dry.

And the RH inside the FC? Like I said, if RH is being maintained that's all you have to go by. There isn't really a set amount of time, ya know? Max FAE while retaining humidity.

Yeah. Though you should really have a calibrated hygrometer in there regardless, it will at least ballpark it.
I am never entirely convinced my RH monitor is accurate.. so I have 3. lol

You can always do a dry run of your FC before your birth into it to dial in settings. Though probably isn't necessary.
Best of luck!

The air purifier I doubt would make strong enough air currents to screw up a SGFC but the ceiling fan might.
