The ultra-sonics admit to much vapour and can cause pooling water to form.

They'll work but you need to modify it using pop bottles or similar containers to cutt down the amount of moisture going into the fruiting chamber.

As where a coolmist (impeller style) admits much less moisture and can be adjusted/programmed
to specific humidity levels.

The one I used could only hit 80% but that is fine for mono tubs/casings.

They dont put off a smaller amount of F.A.E, they put off more F.A.E which can lead to a dried substrate if the tubing is pointed downards and not set on a timer.

If you can adjust the humidity it is fine.

I was going on information I read about ultra-sonics in the original pf tek like 7-8 years ago, defiantly probably made some advances in the models heh.

An ultrasonic running full time can swamp a casing. With a variable repeat cycle timer an ultrasonic can be quite useful, though FAE will still need to be managed. I grow in something similar to a monotub sans polyfil with an ultrasonic running 2 minutes on 15 minutes off and adjust as needed. A cool mist is better in a larger environment (mini-greenhouse) where the droplets have time to evaporate and raise humidity.
