Hi...
i ve been searching for rye in my city but it has been imposible to get some. I want to change the sustrate of my cups from vermiculite and BRF to another with betters results.
Which other sustrate do you recommend me instead of rye??..in terms of facility of the process and of results????

Prueba con arroz integral de cultivo biol?gico. Debes tener mucho cuidado en no pasarte con la cocci?n, porque se hace muy pastoso y no sirve.
?No has encontrado ning?n herbolario que vendan centeno? Si no lo tienen, se lo puedes encargar y te lo traen en un par de d?as. Yo prefiero el centeno porque es muy dif?cil que se pase, y con 45 min. de cocci?n ?ste absorbe el agua justa para que se colonice perfectamente en unos 15 d?as.

gracias por la respuesta....la verdad es que ahora encontre un lugar donde venden centeno y queria pedirte si me podrias explicar un poco mas detallado el proceso con centeno porque la verdad es que en ingles me compica un poco..

Es muy sencillo:
 vierte en una cazuela llena de agua el contenido de la bolsa de centeno, y l?valo bien removiendo, durante unos 5 minutos.
escurre el centeno, llena de nuevo la cazuela con agua limpia y vuelve a poner el centeno en la cazuela.
pon la cazuela a fuego lento, y cuenta 45 min. a partir de que salga un poco de vapor (antes de que empiece a hervir).
d?jalo enfriar POR COMPLETO. Una vez enfriado d?jalo escurriendo en un colador
Ya puedes preparar tus tarros con centeno, de la manera que creas m?s conveniente. Yo lo hago dejando 0,5 cm. en la parte superior que relleno con vermiculita y tapando con 2 capas de papel de aluminio.

Go for popcorn. I still can't get it to colonize in a week like alot of people are doing, but it's easy as shit, and even if you are retarded you can get it to colonize in two weeks, which is as good as anything (Besides rye which will colonize at about the same rate as pop). In my opinion, popcorn provides a superior substrate because it never clumps together, it is easy as shit, it isn't gross or inconspicuous (i'm waiting for Anno to jump on that one), and it gets colonized very homogenously which can be a problem with WBS.

Some reason I heard that growing suBstrate on popcorn has a less potency. I think its just a theary.
