This is my first HP mini tub grow and everything looks like were rockin and rollin, but had one question. Once the surface in fully taken over is it time to introduce to FC conditions, or is there a consolidation period? With all the help from everyone I've decided to not case my small cambo tubs. Any other help would be awesome. Thanks to all Dirt out...............

After full colonization of the surface I would wait 3 to 4 days before inducing F.A.E. Mycellium will benefit from pent up co2 after full colonization (For a few days, 3-4)
I'd also suggest beginning the light cycle 12/12 after full surface colonization while you wait for the mycellium to finish colonizing/consolidating the substrate.

since this is my first go at the mini tubs, is there a huge benefit put down a casing layer seems alot of people say its not necessary and I sure do belive in what everyone has to say on this site. No one has said why you don't have to with the cubensis strains on HP substrate. Thanks for all the help thus far Dirt Out..............

Cubes just dont need it. Some species wont fruit with out a casing layer like pan cyan.
If you want you can add a casing layer. It will help with moisture and a pin set but it also is an extra step in the process (this is why most people skip it if they can)

Ive just begun casing mono's. Apply a half inch of verm after spawning the bulk and mixing....

Cubes dont need it but it is better then leaving the nutrient source exposed.

I spawned my rye into my tubs 5 days a go and I can see so good roping and nice fluffy white mycelium growth on the top layer. Should or can I put a casing layer on now, should I mix 50/50 verm and peat? How long should a tray take to fully colonize? My trays are relatively small. Thanks so much Dirt out..............

You could case late, I do not see why not.
Im a little iffy about using peat in the casing mix though, I'd just use straight verm that has a neutral P.H rather then messing with peat moss and trying to keep it balanced when you're already so far into the grow, dont wanna risk something going wrong.

I don't see any real reason for using casings for Cubensis I've never noticed a difference when using them. Also if I had trouble with a tub pinning, I usually use the Crumpled Wax paper trick. Less messy, and time consuming for the same results.
Usually I save some bulk before mixing. And patch up exposed grains only. And if there is just to many. I put the thinnest layer I can over the top.
But then again, I've always had trouble with actual casings. Good luck
