Those aren't the best to start out with for a beginner. How were the spores obtained, outdoors?

You would have to put the spores to Agar first. Then go from there. My advice if you want to fruit something, try Psilocybe Cubensis.

Your best option is to save that strain on agar and keep it aside. try successfully learning how to fruit psilocybe cubensis. doing that will help you learn all the basics and then you will be ready for trying other species. Patience will pay off

Don't want to sound like a douche or anything like that but if you have over 2000 posts I feel like you should already know the correct way to write the name is Psilocybe cubensis. In taxonomy the genus name is capitalized and the species name is lower case. That's just the rule, you can blame Carl Linnaeus.

I dunno how he would be able to save that strain on agar if he doesn't even know how to clone a fruit to agar.

Seppling dont matter on the niternet nor does capitalization
You could scrape the dry spores off the caps there if they are not fresh (If fresh take a tissue sample and place on agar. Take from the center of the mushroom picked) on to the agar. Then once they are started there you can transfer to get to an isolate. Or just transfer to grain spawn. Then when you spawn those need to be a substrate with poo in it since its a pan.
If it similar to pan cyan. Then you defiantly need poo in substrate and also need a thin casing layer i suggest 50/50+. Also they are picky about humidity and temp. Use search engine to figure out stuff its all there.

And FYI I already knew that.. But since your so worried about my spelling. I usually use my phone, and I'm not going to correct every single mistake. Go find someone else to show off your "knowledge" too.

You know what, I'm not bragging by no means here, Im in a Doctoral program and I can't type worth a shit. And sometimes when your "searching" on here, 100 people will post different things and it gets really frustrating at times. It's not the fact you don't know it, it's not the fact that you don't understand it...It's the fact we over analyze everything and sometimes we just have to ask a few questions so our minds can fully understand what it is, that is going on. If I didn't ask any questions for a good understanding, I wouldn't be anywhere where I am at now. Thanks for asking the question.
