Summer heat devastation

When the temperature hit 95 overnight and stayed that way for 4 days, the mushrooms died. It was very sad.

Now I have an air conditioner

Will the casings which died refruit or are they shot?
How long will it take?

Yeah, the heat's gonna be interesting. For the next three or four days here it's gonna be 90-95 during the day, and my FOAF fears for his myc...though, since it's still colonizing, I suppose it'll prolly be fine.
