First grow of Lipa Yai and Ecuador

Hi Shroomery. This is my first post but have been lurking around for awhile. With all the information on here, it's a bit overwhelming to just read so I decided to just go for it and learn from any mistakes that I made. I hope this is the right place to post because I couldn't do it in the grow log section. I'll update with pictures weekly if everything goes well.
The 2 that I am growing is Lipa Yai and Ecuador. The Lipa Yai will be in 1/2 pint jars and Ecuador will be in spawn bags.
Day 1: Inoculation was done on 9/1 for all jars and bags. The process was done using an opened oven at 270F. Flame and alcohol wipes for the needles. 1cc for each jar and 5cc for each bags.
I used 2 containers, one for jars and one for bags. Heating pads on timers were set under the containers. The temp here range from 80-90F during the day and around 50F at night. The timers were set at 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off.
The first few days I ran the heating pads 24/7 and noticed that the temp got to 85F during the day and 75F during the night. So heating pads are disconnected during the day. After 7 days I noticed white stuffs the size of a dime appearing on a few of the jars. No changes in the spawn bags.
Day 11:
The pictures were taken on the 11th day. All the jars are doing well except 1. No changes to that 1 jar and spawn bags yet. I got lazy after inoculating the first few jars so it could be that I missed one. So what I did was pumped an entire 10cc syringe into the jar.

Day 12: Got tired of the spawn bags not showing any growth so I tried to break them up. When breaking up the content of the bags, I noticed 3 have green mold in them. The green mold got on a few rye grain. I'm thinking that maybe all the bags are contaminated that's why they're not growing. I put all the bags back in the container to let them ride out for a few more days just to be sure they're green mold.
I'll update more soon.

never use an oven.....get a $10 plastic bin and make a still air box.
an oven will blow contams all over....but "still air" will not, guaranteed.
although open air inoculation is possible with a flame sterilized needle.
Incubating is outdated and uneeded, jars/bags should be colonized at room temp....and a drop at night is ok(in nature the temp drops at night right?), maybe not to 50F, but 60F is fine. optimal temps are low to mid 70s...mycellium tends to stall above 86F and contams thrive. mycellium also generates heat so the inside of the jars will be a tad warmer than the outside.
mycellium also benefits from ambient/indirect light, many people let them colonize on a shelf.

Thanks for the info Notahacker420. I'll probably do that box inoculation you've mentioned on my next grow of B+ at room temp. I'm kind of disappointed about the bags though because I've used up all the Ecuador syringes that I have in them. I'm hoping to reach 50 posts in 3 months so I can access the trading section.
I think I went overboard with the amount of jars. I thought that most of them would be contaminated but only 1 is having problem. Would spacing Lipa Yai 1 inch apart during fruiting appropriate?

yes cakes in a fruiting chamber will do fine 1" away from eachother...just dont set them directly on the perlite(if making a SGFC), put a jar lid or some foil circles or squares.

Can't have too many spawn jars! haha.
I have seen grain bags take like 2+ months to fully colonize from spores.
Also, I assume you have a lid under that foil with holes poked into it? If so, and you have a dry vermiculite layer at the top of your jars, you can remove the foil. It will aid in GE and speed growth.

@Notahacker420 Thanks for the advice. It's always reassuring to take advices from someone with 2k posts.
@Thadeous Yes, there are lids with holes under those foil pieces and dry vermiculite at the top of every jar. I'll remove the foil today and save them so I can line the bottom of the cakes when fruiting.
As for the spawn bags, I guess I'll leave them there until I'm sure they're contaminated before throwing them in the trash.
