You do save cash by buying more at once, but if you're low on funds then 2 lbs should do you just fine, and if you're really low on funds then you can always just get some WBS.

I'll do anything I can to help anyone. I have a little over 2 years of growing experience so if you have a question on anything just shoot me a PM and i'll do my best to help you.

if your low on funds you go to j-mart or dollar general and get a 10lb sack of wbs for 6bucks and make 30 jars. not 2 lbs for 13$ and make 1 monotub

I wanted a small quantity because I have never used rye berry before. If its relatively easy to use, then I would rather get the large quantity. I have a significant quantity of quart jars and I'm always trying to keep them filled with something.

WBS - Cheaper, harder to get right for new growers. ORB - More expensive, easier for new growers.
Just my opinion.

I feel stupid asking this, but regarding the simmering process of Doc's WBS tek, are you supposed to have the WBS submerged in water? It doesn't say anything about doing that, but I feel like it would be too easy to burn the WBS while cooking.
