AHHH! What's That!

So from what I read this is mycelium bluing but it's growing! I dunked and rolled, put it in my sgfc and it just sort of happened! The only other time I handeled it was to take the picture! Please help, can it be saved?

It probably can, I'd give a few more days. If the bruising spreads and the cake feel relatively light I would redunk it and investigate your fruiting conditions for something that could be drying it out. Have you fruited in other cakes in that FC yet?

No it's my first grow...
I am using the same method as the rr videos but a smaller chamber. I am also fanning and misting 5 times a day.

How long have you been fruiting those cakes?
If there spent, or close to the end of the line
there prone to contaminate. Eventually all
substrates do. Trich is a notacable growth.
looks almost like a scab. Hard to tell from
your pics. Keep an eye on it.

Think of how you handle the cake when picking
it up. Is this where the suspected spot is appearing?
Dryness or handling will cause bruising. Lift the
cake and compare it to the weight it was when first
birthed. If it seems really light dunk for another
24 hours. :thumbup:

Re-dunked and all the blue went away :smile:
