So little green spots have infected my monotub sadly and im tryin to keep it alive ((( I have barbicide which is fungicide and germicide, If I put that on a q tip and isolated the barbicide to the trich and avoid the myc, do you think this would be effective?

No... fungicides only kill spores.
You can try and 'subdue' it with a Salt Paste.(Search Engine) To allow you to harvest all of your flush. Other then that, the longer you keep it in your house the more spores it will blow everywhere.

Of course... If cleaned well. Lot's will suggest a bleach/water solution. I usually just find some good antibacterial Dish Soap and wash the shit out of it with the hose outside. Then again inside with some hotter water.

Not familiar with WBA.
What Tek did you use. Odd's are the contaminate has been there. Proper pasteurization could of been your problem if using Damion's Tek.
Sub layer you mean casing?

Did you make sure the coir you bought wasn't the stuff that contains trich already in it. Some does...some does not. I've used coir on my monos and they have been getting to the 3rd or 4th flush before any sign of trich setting in.

^^ True.
Coir used for Hydroponic use has purposely added Trich. You may use it already, but look at your local pet store for Zoo Med Eco Earth Coir.

If you have a big nesco cooker I would suggest using that for pasteurization. It works great. You can get one for about 30 bucks at slavemart(wally world). Damion5050s' recipe fits nicely inside the nesco leaving an inch or 2 at the top to stir it occasionally. I set it at its lowest setting 150 and in about 40-50 minutes the entire batch is at temp. Once at temp I leave it in the nesco at 150 for 2 hrs. Never had a problem yet. My nesco has 2 little breather holes in the lid. I place tape over them when using. There you have it the nesco tek lol! Take care!

Of course you have to pasteurize it.
Bring the Coir/Verm to moisture capacity. Bring it to 140-160 degrees on the stove for one hour.

Um no.... The method does work. But not for everyone. It is not PROPER pasteurization.

Ok so follow what that link you posted says to do? Instead of bucket tek? And this works for a mono tub?
