have 7 cakes colonized i wanna spawn to the poo. i was thinking about throwing some black kow in a cooler breaking up the cakes then covering with more black kow to colonize. how much and how should i add moisture to the mix?

I feel that black kow is too dense and muddy by itself.  I mix it with vermiculite, coir, and straw, to fluff it up.

i searched my local stores and couldnt get any coir, can i use black kow and verm only?

Dry that black kow brand cow shit out first in the sun then cut it with 25% vermiculite and 3% gypsum (by volume) then hydrate the mix to 72% moisture content or field capacity and it's ready for pasteurization.

You can just add Verm and pasteurize . Use search bar
