Bruising of mycelium, or mold?
    #16821177 - 09/10/12 12:19 AM (12 years, 4 months ago)

Hey guys,

So I finished a grow a couple of months ago, and have yet to try any of my fruits. The grow itself was pretty rough. I had difficulty fully colonizing my coir (it never reached 100%), and the fruits mostly grew on the sides of the tub.

Anyways, before I try the fruit, I want to make sure (one more time) that everything is okay. I've already gotten a couple of opinions, but I'm a very cautious person and I'd like some more, preferably from a trusted cultivator.

The pics aren't so clear, but from what I see it is bruising, Trichoderma has a much darker forest green. There are many other colored contams but I don't see any. The bruising is from drying out, you need to either give them less FAE (but not too little) or mist more.

Other than that those pins are looking great, nicely done.

But is that an albino cubensis in there with your normals? What is that?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't see any mold there.

Oddly, I've had a great deal of mutations lately. The grow above was finished a couple of months ago, and my current grow has been producing a few odd fruits - albinos, inside-out caps, ect. The first grow didn't have any inside-outs, but there were 5 or so albinos and the fruits were quite small.

I used South African Transkei spores for both grows.

I see what appears to be spores? haha.
And some small bruising IMO.
