Don't see it being any different from bulk :/
All if not most do well on BRF and grains, grains is just usually more for a bulk grow with better yields IMO.

Ive read that PE doesn't do well on cakes. Why not go for bulk?
-------------------- Studying mycology since: August, 2008
A typical monotub grow of a multi-spore rye spawn with some Golden Teachers: inoculated on day one and saw first signs of growth on day 5. On day 17 jars were 15% - 30% colonized so shook em up. On day 25 I mixed the spawn and sub in the monotub and on day 50 harvested the first flush. Just under 4 ounces dry in 1 month 19 days!

I've done it, it's not worth it on BRF cakes. takes too long to fruit, and the fruits are likely to be small.
B+, Aamazonian, cambodians... those are better ones, they get larger, and are not prone to mutation.

I'm working with PE6 right now on BRF in SGFC and they are not performing well at all. It took over 3 weeks to pin after birthing and out of 5 cakes I got 6 mushies growing. I also had to dunk them twice since birthing.
Meanwhile I have GT and B+ going as well and im getting 2-4gs dry each flush in less than half the time
Not to mention the PE6 was an LC and the GTs and B+ were spores...

My PE6 on cakes are awesome...i was pinning at 95% and the fruits are way more potent than GT or Z. I have no problems whatsoever with PE6.
I'm actually not gonna grow anything anymore unless it has the letters P and E in it.

PE takes forever to fruit. Took mine 3 weeks. My tub caught trich after 2 and a half weeks and i had to finish it off outside, I'll never grow it again. They were fucking strong tho@#^@$#^@#!^!# if your new your better off picking just about anything else to start with. if you already got it just grow it out. do bulk if you feel confidant enough. with cakes youll end up tripping a few times. maybe with a friend.... after a LOOONNNGGG time...
