Are these canning jars suitable?
    #16817113 - 09/09/12 12:41 PM (12 years, 4 months ago)

Hello all,

As some of you may know it's hard to get hold of decent canning jars in the UK.

Do you think the following will do, this will be my first grow so would appreciate any feedback:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B000LNW8Z6/ref=mp_s_a_1?pi=SL75&qid=1347191729&sr=8-1

Thanks.

Since you're ordering online anyway, you should see about getting the half pint wide mouth stubby jars. I find they colonize much faster, produce better, and are easier to work with.

Results may vary of course, but after many grows using both styles of jars, the wide mouths are definitely my preference.

Tall ones work, but are garbage.
