adding water to Grains?

howdy...
a friend has some grains that shes been trying for some time now, but they seem too dry after pc'ing. she followed the tek of soaking for 12-24hr's usually ~18 and drained them, covered the jars with foil, oh and plastic lids with 1/2" holes and filterlids from mycosupply. now the grains seem a bit on the dry side. the myc grows, albiet a bit slow though. any suggestions? she'll appreciate them :smile:

i suppose you could try injecting sterile water in there and shaking it up a bit.

sometimes they can look dryer than they really are though.

if its growing already then u put h2o2 in it like 1ml per half pint.
