First cakes, possible contamination
    #16816568 - 09/09/12 11:00 AM (12 years, 4 months ago)

So this is my first time cultivating, i used an extremely cheap method, i bought some humidifiers, used perlite, i didnt dunk and roll because it was already to late before i knew what that was. I have minor green bruising on the cakes, looks like contamination, i heard it was due to bad air exchange, but the fruits look fine from what i see nothing on them physically. Its been about 5 days for the 3 cakes, and about 2 weeks for the 2 cakes, and on the bottom of one of the 2 cakes i see minor white fuzzy hair on a green grain, scaryy. I didnt have a humidifier in the fruiting chamber for the first week of the 2 cakes, so they were misted a couple times a day. But please help, if the green shit is contam is it still healthy fruits, could i still dry them and replenish myselff(:

The bruising would be from too much fresh air exchange due to drying out, or not enough misting. The cakes look fine to me, not the best pics but I would give them a pass.
